The Story

This Redmond ranch-style home had excellent bones — a generous floor plan, solid construction, and a premium lot in one of the Eastside’s most sought-after neighborhoods. But decades of dated finishes had obscured its potential. Floral wallpaper covered nearly every room, original carpet ran throughout, and the interiors hadn’t been meaningfully updated since the home was built.

MelMax Realty acquired the property with a clear thesis: a thoughtful cosmetic renovation would allow modern buyers to see what this home truly was — a spacious, well-located Eastside property capable of commanding a premium price. The team executed a full interior refresh over six months, transforming every room from dated to dramatic. The original brick exterior was repainted in a striking dark charcoal, a brand new kitchen with quartz island and custom cabinetry replaced the old layout, and a dramatic marble fireplace surround became the living room’s centerpiece.
